2023 | Branding and Advertising Campaign

This Branding and Advertising campaign was created in response to overtourism and its current effect on the world. Terra Travel is a sustainable travel company that promotes travel but encourages others to make small changes to travel more cleanly. With the tagline of “Think Outside the Spot” Terra Travel challenges you to think outside of tourist hotspots that are a large factor of overtourism.

Identity

Social Media

Social Media plays a large role in communicating with viewers about the idea of thinking outside of the world's tourist hotspots. This method of communication is meant to reach all ages that use the different platforms of social media, Instagram and Pinterest. Grabbing the attention of the scroller of both platforms is important to direct them to learn more about the campaign, the Terra Travel account, and the website.

Travel Magazine Ad

Outdoor Advertising

To reach those who do not use social media, magazine ads are placed in travel magazines like Travel and Leisure. This campaign aims to reach all audiences in both digital and print formating.

Outdoor advertising was essential to communicate with travelers during their journey. Visuals were created to grab the attention of travelers, whether they are traveling by bus, plane, car, or more. Both personable and picturesque were implemented to appeal to those that travel to make memories with others, for themselves, or the views.

Terra Travel is a sustainable travel company with the motto to live clean by traveling simply. The clean structure represents the simple changes the company encourages its viewers to make. The variety of movement flowing from the “e” in terra represents the different terrains and biomes that a traveler may encounter. There are three different logo variations at the moment, with an opportunity for more in the future.
